Coach hire and minibus hire for Bescot Stadium
Bescot Stadium opened in 1990 and holds 11,300 people, a capacity that shapes how groups travel there on match days. With a ground of this size, parking and drop off points fill quickly, so arriving by coach or minibus takes the pressure off finding space for multiple cars. BusRoute connects supporters, school groups and corporate parties with licensed operators who know the routes into this part of the West Midlands.
Why groups choose coach or minibus travel
Coordinating a group of any size for a fixture at Bescot Stadium is simpler when everyone travels together. A single minibus works well for a small supporters club, while larger away day parties often need a full coach to move everyone in one trip. Operators in this area are used to matchday drop off and collection, timing arrivals around kick off and final whistle.
Getting here from nearby cities
The journey data below shows that Bescot Stadium sits within a comfortable same day return for all six listed origin cities. Birmingham is the closest at just 12 miles and a 20 minute coach journey, making it realistic for last minute bookings. Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool are all over an hour and a half away but still allow a same day round trip without requiring a break under GB drivers hours rules.
Booking through BusRoute
BusRoute does not operate vehicles directly. Instead, it puts your group in touch with licensed operators who provide the coach or minibus and driver for your trip to Bescot Stadium. This means you get local knowledge of the area alongside the vehicle capacity your group needs, whether that is a nine seat minibus or a full size coach for a larger away following.
Journey times to Bescot Stadium
Break requirements follow GB drivers hours rules, and none of these six routes need a scheduled stop for a same day trip.
Worth Knowing About Bescot Stadium
Bescot Stadium opened in 1990 and has a capacity of 11,300 people, making it a mid sized venue for matchday crowds. Groups travelling from nearby cities, from Birmingham's short 12 mile hop to Sheffield's longer 85 mile run, can all complete a lawful same day return under GB drivers hours rules. Coach hire and minibus hire for Bescot Stadium suits supporters clubs, school groups and corporate parties who want to travel together rather than coordinate several cars for a single fixture.

Before You Book
No jargon, just what you need to know.
Bescot Stadium is 12 miles from Birmingham, a coach journey of around 20 minutes. This makes it one of the shortest trips on record for the stadium, suiting groups booking transport close to matchday.
Yes, a same day return from Manchester is lawful under GB drivers hours rules. The 73 mile journey takes around 1 hour 37 minutes each way, with no required break for the one way trip.
It depends on group size. A minibus suits smaller supporter groups or school trips, while a full coach handles larger away day parties. Operators can advise based on numbers and luggage needs.
No break is required for the one way journey from Sheffield. At 85 miles and around 2 hours 5 minutes, it still allows a lawful same day return under current drivers hours rules.

“We booked Bus Route for our group of 35 passengers travelling from London to Ipswich return trio and the experience was excellent from start to finish. On our way to the venue, the road was unexpectedly closed when we were only about 15 minutes away. Our driver remained calm, patient, and professional throughout, finding an alternative route without any stress or delay on our part. We really appreciated how composed and experienced he was in handling the situation. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference as we were travelling during an extremely hot day. Everyone in our group was able to relax and enjoy the journey.Overall, we had a fantastic experience on both the outbound and return trips. The service was reliable, comfortable, and well-organised. I would highly recommend Bus Route to anyone looking for coach transport for a large group. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!”
