Getting a group to Brighton Racecourse
Brighton Racecourse operates an allocated coach parking area, so groups arriving by coach hire do not need to hunt for space on race day. This makes coordinating minibus hire or coach hire for Brighton Racecourse straightforward for clubs, workplaces and racing societies planning a group outing.
Coach parking and access
The racecourse confirms coach parking is available in its own designated area, separate from general car parking. For groups needing accessibility support, there are dedicated accessibility parking bays located in the Owners & Trainers car park, which drivers should be told about in advance so they can plan the drop-off route.
Nearest coach park
If the on-site coach area is full or a driver needs an alternative, Brighton Marina Coach Park sits 2138 metres away, roughly a 27 minute walk from the racecourse. It carries no parking fee and access is confirmed, and it is the only coach parking option recorded within 2500 metres, so it is worth noting as a fallback rather than a first choice.
Public transport link
The nearest bus stop, Race Hill, is just 130 metres from the racecourse, useful for operators dropping part of a group closer to the entrance before parking the coach.
Planning the day
Whether it's a race day outing from London, a society trip from further afield, or a corporate hospitality group, booking coach hire or minibus hire for Brighton Racecourse means confirming pickup points, drop-off timing near the Race Hill stop, and where the coach will wait during the meeting.
Journey times to Brighton Racecourse
Break requirements follow GB drivers hours rules, and all six origins allow a lawful same day return.

About BusRoute
BusRoute is a UK coach and minibus booking platform. We do not own vehicles. We connect groups with licensed operators who do, which means you are matched to the operator best placed to run your journey rather than to whoever happens to own the nearest coach.
Every operator we work with holds a valid PSV operator licence and full passenger insurance. Drivers on school and youth bookings are DBS checked as standard.

“We booked Bus Route for our group of 35 passengers travelling from London to Ipswich return trio and the experience was excellent from start to finish. On our way to the venue, the road was unexpectedly closed when we were only about 15 minutes away. Our driver remained calm, patient, and professional throughout, finding an alternative route without any stress or delay on our part. We really appreciated how composed and experienced he was in handling the situation. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference as we were travelling during an extremely hot day. Everyone in our group was able to relax and enjoy the journey.Overall, we had a fantastic experience on both the outbound and return trips. The service was reliable, comfortable, and well-organised. I would highly recommend Bus Route to anyone looking for coach transport for a large group. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!”
