Coach hire and minibus hire for Madejski Stadium
Madejski Stadium opened in 1998 and holds 24,161 people, making it a regular destination for match day groups, concerts and corporate visits. It sits right at Junction 11 of the M4 in Reading, Berkshire, which makes it straightforward to reach by road from across the south and midlands. Coach hire and minibus hire for Madejski Stadium is arranged through licensed operators who know the venue and its access points well.
Getting there and dropping off
The stadium's motorway junction location at RG2 0FL means coach drivers can approach directly from the M4 without navigating through central Reading. The nearest bus stop, Reading Stadium, is just 214 metres from the venue, useful for groups who want a short walk from a nearby drop off point rather than a direct pull in. Operators coordinate the exact drop off with organisers ahead of the visit.
Group travel for events and matches
Whether it's a Reading FC fixture, a concert or a corporate event, groups travelling together avoid the parking pressure that builds around the stadium on event days. A single minibus or coach replaces multiple cars, which matters given the venue's capacity and the traffic that a full house of 24,161 attendees can generate on local roads near Junction 11.
Booking through BusRoute
BusRoute connects customers with licensed coach and minibus operators covering Reading and the wider region. Each operator sets their own routes, timings and drop off arrangements around Madejski Stadium, so it's worth confirming details directly with the operator once a booking is underway.
Journey times to Madejski Stadium
Breaks required follow GB drivers hours rules, and all six routes listed allow a lawful same day return.

“We booked Bus Route for our group of 35 passengers travelling from London to Ipswich return trio and the experience was excellent from start to finish. On our way to the venue, the road was unexpectedly closed when we were only about 15 minutes away. Our driver remained calm, patient, and professional throughout, finding an alternative route without any stress or delay on our part. We really appreciated how composed and experienced he was in handling the situation. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference as we were travelling during an extremely hot day. Everyone in our group was able to relax and enjoy the journey.Overall, we had a fantastic experience on both the outbound and return trips. The service was reliable, comfortable, and well-organised. I would highly recommend Bus Route to anyone looking for coach transport for a large group. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!”
