Coach Hire and Minibus Hire for Rother Valley Railway
Rother Valley Railway operates from Robertsbridge Junction Station on Station Road, Robertsbridge, East Sussex TN32 5DG. For groups travelling from further afield, coach hire and minibus hire to Rother Valley Railway is arranged through BusRoute, which connects customers with licensed operators covering the East Sussex area rather than owning any vehicles itself.
Why Group Transport Suits This Trip
A visit to a heritage railway naturally draws groups: family outings, school trips, railway enthusiast clubs and community organisations. Coordinating minibus hire or coach hire removes the hassle of individual car journeys, parking at a rural station site, and convoy driving through the Sussex lanes around Robertsbridge. Operators can drop passengers close to the station entrance on Station Road, then arrange collection at an agreed time.
Planning the Journey
The distance and drive time from your starting point will shape whether a same day return is realistic. As the journey data below shows, groups from London, Southampton and further north can all complete a same day round trip lawfully under GB drivers hours rules, though longer journeys mean less time at the attraction itself.
Booking Through BusRoute
BusRoute puts you in contact with licensed coach and minibus operators who know the routes into Robertsbridge and the wider Rother Valley area. Whether you need a small minibus for a club outing or a full coach for a school group, the operator handles the vehicle, driver and route planning, while you focus on the day itself.
Coach Travel Times to Rother Valley Railway
All journey times assume standard road conditions, and any driver breaks follow GB drivers hours rules.

“We booked Bus Route for our group of 35 passengers travelling from London to Ipswich return trio and the experience was excellent from start to finish. On our way to the venue, the road was unexpectedly closed when we were only about 15 minutes away. Our driver remained calm, patient, and professional throughout, finding an alternative route without any stress or delay on our part. We really appreciated how composed and experienced he was in handling the situation. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference as we were travelling during an extremely hot day. Everyone in our group was able to relax and enjoy the journey.Overall, we had a fantastic experience on both the outbound and return trips. The service was reliable, comfortable, and well-organised. I would highly recommend Bus Route to anyone looking for coach transport for a large group. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!”
