Coach hire and minibus hire for Twycross Zoo trips
Twycross Zoo, open since 1963, sits at postcode CV9 3PX and welcomes coach parties throughout its 10am to 4pm operating hours. Coach hire and minibus hire to Twycross Zoo is straightforward for schools, clubs and family groups, since the site has coach bays set aside for group drop-off rather than mixing coaches in with general car parking. This matters for group organisers planning a day visit, as it means the driver can set passengers down close to the entrance before finding parking.
Built for school and group visits
Twycross Zoo caters for school group bookings, which makes it a natural fit for minibus hire arranged by teachers organising an educational outing. Operators connected through BusRoute are used to coordinating arrival times around the zoo's opening pattern, so groups can plan for a full day between 10am and 4pm without wasted time at the gate.
Getting there from nearby cities
Because Twycross Zoo sits close to the Midlands motorway network, journey times from major cities are short. Leicester, Birmingham and Nottingham are all under an hour away by coach, and none of the routes from the six origins below require a legally mandated break, meaning every group can complete a same day return. Operators in this area are familiar with coach bay access at the zoo and can plan pickup points accordingly, whether the group is a small minibus of parents and children or a full coach of school pupils.
Booking through BusRoute
BusRoute connects you with licensed operators who know the route and the drop-off arrangements at Twycross Zoo, so you can focus on the day out rather than the logistics of getting there.
Journey times to Twycross Zoo
Break requirements follow GB drivers hours rules, and none of these journeys currently require a scheduled break each way.

About BusRoute
BusRoute is a UK coach and minibus booking platform. We do not own vehicles. We connect groups with licensed operators who do, which means you are matched to the operator best placed to run your journey rather than to whoever happens to own the nearest coach.
Every operator we work with holds a valid PSV operator licence and full passenger insurance. Drivers on school and youth bookings are DBS checked as standard.

“We booked Bus Route for our group of 35 passengers travelling from London to Ipswich return trio and the experience was excellent from start to finish. On our way to the venue, the road was unexpectedly closed when we were only about 15 minutes away. Our driver remained calm, patient, and professional throughout, finding an alternative route without any stress or delay on our part. We really appreciated how composed and experienced he was in handling the situation. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a huge difference as we were travelling during an extremely hot day. Everyone in our group was able to relax and enjoy the journey.Overall, we had a fantastic experience on both the outbound and return trips. The service was reliable, comfortable, and well-organised. I would highly recommend Bus Route to anyone looking for coach transport for a large group. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!”
